Conference Scope

The 1st Conference on Physical Modeling for Virtual Manufacturing Systems and Processes is the result of the International Research Training Group (IRTG) 2057 "Physical Modeling for Virtual Manufacturing Systems and Processes", funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The IRTG began on 01 July 2014. Partner University of the University of Kaiserslautern, is the University of California, with its locations in Berkeley and Davis.Deadline for paper submission:February 13th, 2017Reviewed papers returned: March 17th, 2017Final paper submission:April 14th, 2017Notification of final acceptance:April 28th, 2017

At the conference the progress and the results of the first cohort of PhD students will be presented. The conference will be complemented by talks of international guest speakers from computer science and manufacturing engineering.

Call for papers

Papers have to match the scope and topics of the conference

Papers can only be submitted to one conference and must describe current original re-search of international interest

All papers have to be presented by at least one of the authors at the conference

Papers will be peer-reviewed

Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable

All papers are subject to a final Publisher Internal Review and can be rejected without further information
